Honda Fluids -- For Real?
Thanks for the replies.
I just bought this used car from a private seller, and I'm not sure exactly what fluids he had been putting in this car. I know he would take it for oil changes (sticker in windshield and date wrote on filter -- 2012 lol) (car was in storage) but as the other fluids, not real sure on the upkeep/flushes/etc
So my goal is to completely service the car
Oil change, ps flush, trans flush, coolant flush, fuel filter, belts, cap, plugs, wires, etc
267k miles on this car, I'm hoping I can give it a "fresh" life

If you're interested in complete service, you may consider checking the wear of your timing belt.
Lucked out, fuel vap tube was broke. $4.00 fix on the explorer... Now back to the accord... Pressure tested the a/c today. Put in 18 oz of r 134a and oddly enough, it started smoking from the exhaust??
hayes manual says for '97 accord only Honda ATF should be used
'94-96 says genuine Honda or any dexron/mercon
no point in buying pure coolant and using tap water huh? right?
Shell motor oil and Shell V-power gas guy here. used to use Exxon before gas stations closed
u might wanna get new bushings and struts and drive axles
good lux
