Honda Z1
Castrol has a synblend auto transmission fluid meeting Honda and Accord JASO-1 standard.

I note that AMSOIL has a pure syn meeting Z1 standards.
The Castrol fluid was priced at $3.50/qt.
Honda Z1 is about friction modifier additives.
These modifiers make the transmission shifts meet Honda design objectives.
I will use the Honda Z1 tranny pan drain at 30k intervals until the car is past warranty then use Castrol or similar meeting the JASO-1 standard.
I will test the Castrol on a Ford AXOD and AX4N trannyfor shiftingcharacteristics.
