Exclamation Im new and of course need help. 1992 honda accord MES connector location.

Hello everyone! I am new here and just bought a 1992 Honda Accord DX. The srs light is on and I am wanting to reset it. Here is the problem. I looked at possibly hundreds of posts on this topic trying to locate the MES connector. I found one at my driver side fuse box above the kick panel. It was a yellow plug with two gray wires in it. I had a heck of a time removing it. Once removed I noticed it connected to 2 pins so I dont rightly know if this is the correct plug. Most posts said it would be a dummy plug and now I feel like the dummy. Someone please help. UPDATE: I found a yellow connector directly below my steering column. It has 4 gray wires entering and only 2 wires exiting. I do not think this is it but it could be.

I don't believe the 4th generation Accords (1990 - 1993) had the MES connector to reset the SRS light. Usually the SRS light on for the 4th generation Accord was due to a damaged or faulty cable reel/clock spring. Does the horn work on your car?

I believe the MES connector to reset the SRS started with the 5th generation Accords.

Sorry I am tardy in replying. Yes I have checked the horn and it works. Not intermittently as some had noticed.

Don't hold me to this......the manaul I have for the 4th gens....well SUCKS.

See if there is a "panel" on the drivers side of the sterring wheel.....this would be on the steering wheel portion. If there is, remove it, see if there is an LED light, if so turn the key on....one blink will happen, then any codes will flash on the LED.

Ok thanks for your suggestion! I will give it a look and see if something like that is there.
