Default Infotainment reboots on ignition 2016 Accord EX

I got a used Manual transmission Honda Accord 2016 EX. I am still learning to drive stick and stall sometimes. Everytime I stall, the engine turns off but the infotainment continues to work (music from Android Auto continues to play). But when I turn back the engine ON by pressing the button, the infotainment system seems to lose power and the it restarts. It takes around a minute to get back to Android Auto which seems too long especially if I am using Maps on android auto. Is this expected or something wrong with the battery?

Is the android system turning off when you turn the key to start the engine after a stall?

That is correct. However, this car has a push button start. So
1. Android auto/radio is running. Car stalls. Engine turns off
2. Android auto/radio is still running.
3. Press the push button to start engine -> Engine starts but Radio switches off and turns on again.. Honda logo comes up and takes another 30sec for the radio to come back on, another minute for the Android Auto to come back on.

I tend to forget about the push button start, but they follow the same principal as the mechanical ignition switch.

I'm not very familiar with the newer accords. Is your android auto system and aftermarket installation or an OEM Honda unit?
