Hi guys, Im Arty and I have a 2004 Accord Lx 5sp. I need a little help, my radio plays almost when it wants to. Some days it'll play all day, sometimes it wont come on at all, sometimes it'll start to play while I've been on the road for a while. I found that if I bang hard enough on either side of it it will "come back". I've taken the console apart, but I cant find any loose or frayed wires. I'm confused, I need a bit of direction. I contimplated replacing the whole unit. But I really dont have a big budget to work with. If I have to rely on someone else to do the work then it has to be something I can not to at all. I just need a bit of help.....Has any one experienced this problem?

 

It could be something internal in the radio. I am not sure how to fix them.

There are some tv/radio shops that may be able to fix it. Your other option is a junkyard part.
