Check the electrical connection to the solenoid. It is near the charcoal canister. Also check the vacuum lines.

I would pull the 7.5 backup/radio fuse in the engine bay fuse box for a minute. That will clear the code. See if the code returns.

 

Thank you, PAhonda....simple enough, it was the electrical connector, which I didn't reconnect after cleaning and allowing to dry (guess its dry NOW, huh).
