Default Knocking in Steering while turning

So recently while driving my car while I am turning I get a continuous knocking in the wheel and it seems some in the front suspension. It also knocks a little bit while going through dips, bumps, etc.... Now I was thinking maybe CV joint, but wanted to see what a couple of you guys think it might be. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

T

The CV joint made a clicking sound when I turned. Look for grease everywhere near the outer CV joint boot. The boot is likely torn.

You should inspect other worn suspension components while you are down there. The upper and lower ball joint for excessive play. The sway bar endlinks for deteroriatoin.

it sounds like a loose spare tire......seriousely input year and model , it will give us a better idea

noise on turns . like it has been said, sounds like a worn outer cv joint.. but the noise over bumps is a different matter, could be struts, worn or lose suspension parts ..
