Default Pinging Knocking Sound when turning?

Hello all.

I am new to the forum. We just bought a 1994 Honda Accord EX Wagon with 175,000 miles on it. Great shape except for some rust spots.

My question is, when at low speeds turning left or right I get a sound that is close to a pinging or knocking sound coming from the passenger area. According to the previous owner the front axles were replaced at 139,000 miles. I am assuming that included the C/V joints. What else could it be? Maybe wheel bearings? I would like some feedback.

Thank you.

Might be your bearings too my girls honda had the same problem..when you go fast does it sound like knocking...
she had the bearings replaced and the sound was gone...but it can be your axles.
