I am hoping you guys can give me a hand wirh the problem i am currently experiencing.

I have a 2001 2litre Honda Accord Vtec.

The engine management light has recently come on. I have had it diagnosed by 2 places that do car diagnostics and both returned the same codes.

p1166 & p1167 are the codes which were being read.
I have bought an original Lamda sensor from Honda and still the light is on.

I believe the car has 2 lamda sensors on at the front and other other one underneath, i changed the one at the front.

After searching this problem it seems that it is quiet common, but no one seems to have a solution or i havent managed to find one. Can anyone assist me with this issue?

 

Both codes pertain to the primary O2 sensor.
you need to diagnose the heater circuit of the sensor.
