Default LCD panel::High Beam Indicator gone bad

hi,

If any one faced this problem.
I have a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe LX (out of warranty already). The problem is with the High Beam Indicator on the LCD panel on the Dash right behind the steering wheel. I contacted a local maintenance shop and they told me that the only way out is to replace the entire LCD circuit.
My question would be if someone who knows about it or has faced something similar could tell me if thats the only way out? Is there nothing which could fix it without having to replace it?
thanks.

I have never done it personally but I am fairly certain that there is a way to remove that panel and just replace the bulb if that's all that is bad.

agreed. I have an 07, and its not LCD that displays the blue high beam indicator. Its just a bulb.
