Default Levels of Trim on Accord Coupe 98-02

Chaps

Just wondering what levels of trim were offered on the US versions of the Accord Coupe?

We only had 2 models:

The EX which was a 150bhp 2.0 4cyl
The V6 which came with the 200bhp 3.0 6cyl

Both came in exactly the same level of trim, of which was pretty highly specced. Standard included:

Leather electric + heated front seats.
electric Sunroof
Digital climate control
Cruise Control
Front headlamp washer
Electric mirrors

The only extras that were available on both models were:

Rear spoiler
Trip computer
Subtle bodykit inc front foglights
'Wood effect' comprehensive dash trim

I believe your versions were more varied?

The 98-02 had the LX, DX, and EX.

The LX and EX could be an ultra low emissions vehicles. The LX and EX could be have a V6 engine.

IIRC the DX was pretty stripped-down. Possibly it didn't have airconditioning.
Probably had drum brakes at the rear and steel wheels (with plastic wheel-covers).

LX had airconditioning & probably a couple other things. It could have either the 2.3 liter 4-cyl (150 hp) or the V-6.

EX added the electric glass roof. Rear brakes were disk. Wheels were aluminum.
Leather seats were available but not standard.
4-cyl or V-6 engine.

No air con in US spec Accord? Wow, I thought that was considered standard kit on all cars considering how hot and humid it can get in places there!!!!

Well, I think they want to advertise that Accords can be had for as cheap as $xxxx. So that doesn't mean they actually have any at a dealership at any given time...

For that matter, any dealer south of Alaska probably never orders a DX for their inventory. When we were shopping for a new 2003, the dealer said yes that DX model exists but she had never actually seen one.
