As stated, looking to buy a 03 accord ex 2.4L 4 cly. with 147k miles on it from a dealership for $8,000. Check out the carfax and it has a clear title, two previous owners, the first owner putting in 113k miles in 4 years 7 mo. and the second owner putting in 34k miles in 1 year 7 mo. Want to know whether or not it will be a good buy. I test drove it and everything checks out excellent, no knocking noises coming from engine or elsewhere. Anything i should worry or be weary about?

Get the engine checked by a mechanic... I am buying a car too and I'm looking at Pepboys and Autozone. I am still not sure how much it costs but you should get a full engine check and a compression test at the least...

 

your car in EXCELLENT condition is ONLY worth $ 7800.00...

if this car is in excellent condition inside and out ,i would not pay more than $ 7500.00

And i would still spend the extra 70-80 dollars to have car checked out by a shop that SPECIALIZES ON HONDAS and NOT PEPBOYS ..
