Question Looking to do a seat swap on 2012 4DR Accord

My 2012's seats absolutely destroy my lower back. I like to go on road trips and I'm wondering what might fit the rails in my car that I could swap into it. Doesn't even have to be another Honda seat, hoping something comfortable I can grab from a U Pik.

Would really appreciate it. All the support pillows and aftermarket mesh back things aren't cutting it anymore.

I may not be of much help.

I don't know what seats can bolt into your 2012 accord. You may want to look up the OEM part number for your current seat tracks, then see what other hondas use the same seat tracks.

I do remember people complaining about the seats being uncomfortable. The 2007-2012 accords are the same generation, so you may try sitting in a seat of an 07 to see if has the same issues?

Thanks the seat track part number trick might be a good starting place. They're fine for a little while -- not as bad as my girlfriend's 2019 Fit (good LORD) -- but they're still not comfy enough to drive in for more than an hour before getting squidgy.

I know exactly where you're coming from on this. The seats in my wife's 00 Accord are pretty good for long distance driving, but not for track use. I sold my 64 Ghia, because I could never get comfortable in that car after an hour of driving. Had the same issue with my 97 S-10, sold it too.

Yes! And the funny thing is, once you've owned a car for a while you can feel the degradation over time. I took a 5,000 mile road trip a few years ago and they were OK. Now 60 miles has my back aching smh
