Hey. .hopefully I can get some help on here...back last year I put the f20b swap in my 99 Honda accord ..n for the last few months.. I been having one issue that is driving me crazy.....every time I turn right ...but I have to be going at least 20 mph ...I lose all power to the car. Just the electrical loses power...the engine stays on but all the lights on the dash comes on ..headlights will turn off...radio...etc...does anybody have a idea why this would be happening??? When you say the dash lights turn on, is it like when you first turn the key to the II position and do not try to start the car?

With the engine running, can you get the problem to happen by shaking the key?

Maybe I said it wrong...yes the lights come on...just like u turn the key to the ll position...but I should have added that the car will stall out too. But I quickly straighten out the wheel..so I can regain power...lets say u are coming off the highway...n the exit curves to the right....as I'm turning it will lose power...

Try shaking the key when the engine is running. Let us know if this causes the car to stall out.

I had an issue like this once, as I turned, the motor would shift in the allotted amount causing the positive battery cable to move on the battery post. Make absolutely sure your cables are tight on the battery. Wiggle them with force, Honda's ring terminals are notorious for coming loose.

Ill double check that tonight.. when I get home...but im sure that's not it...cuz I checked that the first time it started happening...really confusing...does anybody think it could be the power steering pump...cuz I had to force the belt on when I did the swap...cuz I couldn't find a better belt.. so its super tight...n the pullys are on the driver side..???

Or is this a electrical problem?

This is not simple to diagnose.

You may want to get the proper sized belt. What is the number stamped on the current belt.

I know its not...its been Hell...ill tell u the number in a lil bit...but what I could tell you is I did used at f 23 power steering pump on the f20b motor because it did not come with one...and I had to use a h22 crank shaft pully so I would be able to hook up the power steering
