Default Loud clicking noise when starting

Hello Guys
When I start my car it always makes a loud clicking sound. It starts every time just making the noise for about one second. It sounds like this: trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr .
I think it might be a sign that the starter is dying. What you think?

Thank You

Get some one to start the car for you and you get under the hood and see if you can pin point where it comes from..

Also might be a sign the battery is dying. Or dirty/loose/corroded connections at EITHER END of the battery cables. Check that stuff out.

It all starts like week after the Honda dealer replaced my battery. I did check the cables by the battery and both connectors are covered is some light brown paste or something ( I think this is something that the dealer use to make sure the connectors will not corrode).
Also I forgot to mention that that noise only happens when the car is parked for at least 8-10 hours. If I drive to the store and shop for an hour then come back to the car and start it , it will not make that noise.

It's possible to get a bad battery new-in-the-box. Not real common, but possible.

What about electrical draw that doesn't turn off? Stuff like the light bulb in the trunk stays on when you close the trunk? Interior lights turn off? Silly stuff like that...

What year/model/engine are we talking about?

2008 Accord LX Sedan 2.4L L4 DOHC 16V. What about the xenon lights? I've installed them right before the problem occurred. Xentec is the manufacturer of the HID Kit. How I can check the electrical draw? Looks like all the bulbs are going off.

Do you, can you get a sound clip? Some of these had an issue with the vtec solenoid on start up....?

EDIT: I'm going here as you said the car starts everytime.......so the battery is not my first "suspect".

I will try to get the sound recorded. Last night I did the parasitic draw test but I think something went wrong. When I check the battery it reads between 12-12.5V but it shows 0 when I check the amperage. Maybe I blow the fuse in the multimeter...or maybe because I pay for it $15 . Anyway I have scheduled a visit with my dealer on friday.
