Loud Thump Under Braking

I have a 95 accord ex coupe 5 spd that has a loud thump in the front end under braking, does it at slow speeds and faster ones also, but only under braking, I thought it was the front motor mount causing it as it was bad. I replaced it this evening and it still does it. Im just wondering if any of you have come across this and what it could be, I know its not the axles I just replaced both of them not that long ago with new axles not remaned ones. Any ideas would be helpful thanks guys

I believe I read something about this on this forum even - you can try searching. But I believe it was the 99 MY and it was the rear mount - towards the cabin. Not sure if yours has one, but if it does do a visual inspection. Did you try to rock the engine by hand, also shift forward-reverse see if you hear noise?

Thanks Ill check it, but the motor really doesnt move since we replaced the front mount, so any other ideas would be great

I'd check the suspension parts for worn or missing bushings.

Thanks Ive been researching it for the past couple of days and I think that I might be a bushing or something of the nature, hopefully I will find it and be able to fix it with no major issues

Do any of you guys think that it could possibly be the radius rod bushing that are bad?

Yes, that was the first on the came to mind when I read this but you should check all of them.

check both control arms and the bushing that hold them, mine completely broke going over pot holes
