Default LUG Stud Replacement 1991 DX

Hello,
The other day I was replacing the brake pads and one of the lug studs broke off. It got very tight and just broke right off. Now on many cars, you could simply pound it out the back and replace. However, on the Accord the rotor is there and is not as easy to remove as some. Can someone please tell me the cheapest way that the stud can be replaced?
I understand that taking the rotors off will be necessary but someone told me that the whole wheel bearing/hub assembly would need to be replaced. Can this be true for just a lug stud?

Thank you for any help.

Kevin

I'm not certain on the 91 but a number of accords have a small hole of sorts behind the rotors (usually at the bottom) so you can rotate the rotor assembly and line the lug up with that hole in the back then just pound it out and replace it.... If not and you do have to pull the whole assembly yes it can be difficult....

what i have done is to, hammer out the old stud, it will come out..
On the new stud, take it to a grinding wheel and gring off part of the round base head . almost 1/2, line the stud up with the grounded part toward the hub,, insert the stud in, either hammer it in ,or get a wheel nut, screw it into the stud , tighten the nut, this will suck in the stud ..
no need to remove anything
