I'm new to the Honda ownership arena and have a couple of questions. I would like to know if someone can tell me at what mileage intervals the "A", "B", "1,2,3,4,5" lights come on and what the factoryrecommended items to be serviced are.
I think our local dealer has a number of items they want performed but are not in the owners manual, and the owners manual does not have the mileage that the individual services should be performed, just when a light appears.
I have a 2007 Accord EXL V6.
Does this thing have a timing belt or chain?

 

V6 has a timing belt. Are you sure you have read the entire owner's manual? I just don't see how that information is in my 2000 owner's manual but not in your 2007 owner's manual.

 

It tells you when "A" comes on, do this, when "B" comes on do this. What I want to know is the mileage interval that these light activate. Like- at 7500 miles the "A" light comes on
15,000 miles the "B" light comes on and so forth.........

Play around with the mileage for the maintenance intervals o the left side of the screen and the top of the screen.

I don't see anywhere it indicates a timing belt change, but that should be in your manual. The manual should tell you all of this somewhere.

 

I'm discovering this with my '07 Civic. The table's actually in the 'service' booklet but it doesn't have any actual miles. I don't like it because it's inconvenient for planning. I don't know if it's gonna go off next week or 6 months.

 

Didnt know this pertained to the 2007 model years also.....

 

Could you please open yours and tell him what page # it is on. If I had an 07 manual I would.
