RE: Major Tranny problems

Also, as was stated the automatic to manual swap is VERY expensive. If you still want to drop that kind of cash on a manual swap let us know and we'll drum up some more info on it. But as was stated you're looking at spending about $5,000

Hmmm... for $5-7k I'd much rather save another $7k for a v6 manual...

@ Whitefoxx: The Eibach's are great... They're progressive compression springs so they hold up to the weight and movement really well.
The drop at the highest level is practically unnoticeable even to the trained eye (many car fiend friends didn't even notice it until I pointed it out), but I can go down another notch in the front, and I believe 2 notches in the back.
All in all, a good buy, with the Koni's :)

RE: Major Tranny problems

hang on a sec ...... the problem was from 98 to 03 and some 04's ..... you have a 6th gen. I'd try again!!! There may be multiple TSB's on this. If they don't help you, call Honda of America. They've already lost the class action suit!

RE: Major Tranny problems

goto www.hondatransmissionsettlement.com and type in your vin. that will tell you if it's included in the suit. If not then call Honda of America and request a good will repair.
