I just wanted to tell you that if it has a check engine light problem do not buy it. I have a 96 Accord EX and I have had this problem since I bought it. Honda has an extended emissions warranty on 95, 96, and 97 accords because there is a technical problem with the Honda's On board Diagnostic(OBD) System that causes it to not comply with the Federal Clean air act and California regulations. If your state requires emissions(OBD) testing and your check engine light is on your car will not pass. Honda Corp is trying to fix this problem by making the warranty for 95, 96, and 97 Accords. The warranty covers almost any problem that shows up when the check engine light comes on. The list of repairable problems and parts are in the warranty book that you can download from: www.honda.com (click on Owner Link, Warranty/Contracts). The warranty has been extended to 14 years from the date your car was first sold, or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. Just make sure the owner has not unhooked the light bulb to the check engine light and really you might want to take the car to a mechanic that can scan the computer of the car. I don't want you to be discouraged from buying a Honda but I think it's important that you know these facts. I honestly wish I would of know before I bought my Accord. I would not of bought a 1996 Accord. I would of looked for an 98 and up. Hope this helps..
