Welcome new member!
I'm gonna move this to the technical area since this new-member area is really only for introductions & saying HI...

What kind of spark plugs did you buy?

Try a new fuel filter and running some dry gas or something to remove possible water contamination in your tank

I had the same problem, put a new set of plug wires, still had the problem, got to looking at the wires really good, and found that one of the wires was going to ground inside the head, below the boot, so you couldn't see it when the engine was running.
The were brand new wires from auto zone.

thanx,
good suggestion - i'll do a good visual inspection. the only ignition component i haven't replaced is the ignition module - your thoughts?
