mount qestion
innovative mount set for the 94 accord with h22a swap.
It seems the rear mount from innovative isn't as tall as the OEM mount. witch makes the engine sit like this \ \ instead of like this | | if your looking at it from the passenger side. its making my transmission mount not line up correctly on the trans. im wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows of anyone else having this problem? it seems spacers may be needed in the rear or maybe because i have the accord bracket and not the prelude bracket. any help would be awesome. also the two bolt holes on the bottom of the rear bracket where the trans bolts to-had an issue with getting the trans in without hitting the bracket had to loosen all the mounts an beat on the bracket pretty good. so i don't know im kinda lost. |

Im going to say that if the company that you bought the parts thru has a technical department to give the tech department a call during the week and pose that same question to them.
Ive always found that if you get in a Quandry, they are the best one's to answer that question... Give them a try...and by the way , I moved you to this correct forum for you :) WheelBrokerAng |
Thanks for your feedback.
yea iv been on the phone with them once already. ill email them with some pics an see if they have any answers. i was hoping someone else may have had this issue. |

Looks to me like you should talk to a welder about fabbin' you up some adapter plates! I couldn't imagine it costing much. I think that would be way safer than "making it work"!

Oh! I see. Well, try checking with the mount manufacturer to be sure you have the right application/part combo. They should be haapy to help you figure it out.
