Mr
Hello there,
I have a honda accord 2007 model (vti-e). I noticed this humming sound when in motion. I complained to my car technician. He said it is a front wheel bearing issue. He changed it only for the sound to still be there. He has replaced the original bearing that came with the car. He now says that it could be from the gear. Please help because the guy sounds like he is fishing in the dark. i dont want my automobile to be wrecked.
thanks

Mr Poorman thanks.
The issue started about 5 months ago. I initially thought it was the Power steering pump. I changed that and the noise from engine start up stooped. The noise from the wheel usually starts when i am moving at about 50km/hr and stops when i step on the brakes.
It is 2007 honda accord vti-e 2.4cylinde engine, auto drive car.
u ve got to help me.
regards

Noises/sounds over the internet are hard to figure out.
One thing you can try is to rotate the tires and see if the noise "moves".
Did your mechanic try checking the "other wheel bearing"? Sometimes trying to figure out which side it is can be difficult.
