Default Is my alternator charging?

Just replaced the battery 2 months ago in my Accord that I bought 6 months ago. The new one is starting to give me trouble on startup. How can I check that the alternator is charging? If I need an alternator, is used, rebuilt or new my best option? I'm POOR! Sorry for such a basic question... Thx

If you bring your car to an autozone or advanced auto they can check your alternator for free.

Rebuilt should work fine and be considerably cheaper than new.

The parts store can test the battery, alternator, and starter.

You may also want to disconnect the battery and clean all ends of both battery cables. Use a wire brush or some sand paper to clean off any rust/corrosion.
