Default is this my egr valve?

is this my egr valve? and if so why is there tons of water pouring out around it? just trying to figure out why my car is over heating.Name:  Untitled-1.png

Yes I think that is your EGR valve. It appears as though coolant is run through it. You must have an older Accord as I have never seen a set up like that before.

It looks like someone has already tried to fix the leak with some RTV. You should go to an autozone or advance auto or a store like those and get a proper seal for it. Just pop those two bolts off, put the seal in, and replace any coolant that was lost.

Yes i have a 89 honda accord lxi. I took those two bolts off yesterday and turned the car on and no water comes out that tube. I believe that is for my exhaust maybe? bc it is dry in the tube. The water more of less pours from under it.
