please help me! ok here is my ? i got a Gforce chip but dont know how to install it my car is a 2001 accord 2.3 VTEC

 

Not sure of the Gforce chip, most likely you will have to open up the ECM, pull the PROM out and plug the chip in then reinstall the PROM. You might need a different thermostat and reset the idle. What kind of performance upgrade did you do to the car ? If it's just close to stock i wouldn't mess around with it. If you are adding alot more power to it then just use standalone system that way you can tune it.

 

did you get the chip off ebay for like 20 dollars?

most likely it is some resistor you plug inline with your temp sensor to trick your computer into spraying more fuel. which will end up reducing your mpg and fouling your plugs.

return it and get a real mod like, a intake, catback exhaust, or header
