Default Need help with a 92

Alright, so i just bought this car yesterday, and it has some weird electrical thing going on, randomly at certain times the ABS light comes on, and when it flickers on theres complete throttle loss, like i start jerking cuz its like the car goes on and off haha. If you have any idea why it would be doing this could you let me know? Thanks.

Whenever the abs light comes on, it stores a code in the ABS computer. You can short a blue two pin connector behind the passenger side kick panel with a thin paperclip or a piece of wire and count the abs code(s). (see pic below for connector location). Turn the key to the II position and count the abs light flashes.

The ABS light will turn on for one second, have a 2 second pause, then start blinking the main code. There will be a 1 second pause then the sub code will blink. The next code will flash after a 5 second pause.

So a code 4-1 would have four blinks, a one second pause, then 1 blink. A second code may come up, or the 4-1 would blink again. Let us know what you find.

It could be possible that you are dropping power thru the ignition switch.
Do the other dash lights flicker as well?

Try shaking the key while the car is running. Do the lights flicker when you do this?

Aslo double check the cables on the battery, both ends of both cables need to be clean and tight.
Low voltage can and will trip the ABS light.
