Default Need help before purchase

Ok guys, I've looked and looked at washer tanks with motors for my 1997 honda accord lx v6 abs auto...

I cannot tell if there is a difference between the washer tanks for the 4 & 6 cylinders.. I know the engines are turned different, but are the windshield washer tanks different?

ie.. oem numbers?

I need to buy a replacement, and I'd hate to buy the one wrong and it not fit.

Thanks!

Washer tank is in the opposite side fender for V6 vs. 4cyl. Pictures at Majestic look like the tanks are completely different shapes.

4-cyl the tank is in the left-side fender.
76841-SV1-A02 is the tank.
38512-SC4-673 is the pump.

V6 the tank is in the right-side fender.
76841-SV7-A02 is the tank.
38512-SC4-673 is the pump. (so I guess the PUMP is the same?)

Thanks Jim... Figured the v6 one is 3x the price of the 4 cylinder.
By the way, how did you get all of your honda knowledge?

LOL, just by taking em apart to repair. I've had a few Honda/Acuras over the years & they seem to do things the same way (company's tradition). So maybe I can look at parts drawings on-line & recognize stuff that's similar to things that I've done.

No, not really riced up. Put a header on the GSR & wheels/tires sometimes.
