Is this a 4 or 6 cylinder?

This might take some searching. It kind of looks familiar; but, I haven't found it yet.

I combed through most of of my available sources and I couldn't find anything for the 2004 Accord 4 cylinder exactly like that.

Does the car start?

In addition, is the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) aka Check Engine Light on?

I looked through practically every sensor and electrical connector listed for her car, which includes actual pictures, location, etc. and I didn't find anything like that. The sources I checked are pretty extensive.

I was thinking that if it didn't start or there was a trouble code, then it might narrow down the area.

I am starting to wonder whether the squirrel got it from a nearby car and took it where your daughter's car was; kind of like them storing nuts, etc.

I understand but we live on 40 acres no other house within squirrel distance there was also some insulation right were that was laying that made me believe it happened then, I guess the only other car that had been out there the day before but not in the same spot was a 04 ford f150 fx4 super cab. Will keep you posted if a problem shows up. The fate of this squirrel is also going to change soon as this is not a good place to have one wanting to chew things up.

A good squirrel hunt..in more than one way..cool

To me that looks more like a "cap" of sorts (trans vent or something like that but then the "arrow" with the "F" has me second guessing myself) - I added a red arrow (hard to see-sorry), is that solid or is there a "hole" like a wire would fit thru?

When i saw 2nd pic instanly thought of dust cap for bleeder valve. Look long compared to diameter. Can you scale it in a pic, for better reference?
