Need a little help, please.
Greetings,
I have a 2005 Accord LX V6 with an auto transmission and 89,000 highway miles. Recently, the engine has developed a ticking noise approx. 30 seconds after its started (cold). About 2.5 minutes later the noise goes away not to be heard again until its cold started. The Honda garage told me the noise is a fuel injector and is common to the 2004 and 2005 v6 engines, and, there's no need to worry. Howerver, since 1998 my wife and I have purchased 7 new v6 accords and have never experienced this issue. Granted, none of them had this much mileage. Also, I want to sell this car but certainly don't want to pass on a problem to an unspecting buyer. Has anyone else had or heard about this problem? Thanks, in advance for the help.

Moved your thread to gen tech help forum. You will get more help here.
It is hard to identify sounds over the web. You should try to pinpoint the location of the sound. Use a screwdriver as a mechanic's stethoscope.
From your description, the valves are are known to make that kind of noise on a cold engine, then disappear when warmed up.
