Default new guy

Hi new to the forum. I have a 2000 accord with over 300,000 miles and I have a few questions. I have owned it since it was new, I also do a lotof my own work to it. But I do not know what the oil pressure spec is for it, what is the range? I would like to get some gauges for it but don't know what rangeI will need. Also I bought a 2 door accord bumper and mine is a 4 door, will it fit on my car. My old bumper is damaged andI need to change it out. And whould like to keep the car looking good as well as running good.

Wow, that's a lot of driving, over 40K/yr avg! My sympathies.

You've driven 300K miles and don't have a shop manual? If not, then time to get one. Even a Haynes manual will have oil pressure specs for your vehicle.

Try checking car-part.com for a replacement bumper. It provides x-over references to other models that are donors to your car, and may identify whether the coupe bumper will work on 4-dr. You may have to drill down to find the donor car details in some cases.

good luck

At 3,000 rpm: 50 psi minimum

remove the oil pressure switch and hook up the oil pressure gauge to that.

the location varies, is it a v6 or 4 cyl.?

honda doesn't use that type of oil pressure sensor though. it's simply an on/off switch. you'll need to get a GM oil pressure sending unit and wire it up. not fun..
