New Guy from Chicago
Hello all,
Looking at picking up a 2012 Accord EX-L 4 or V6 within the next week.
Thought I'd finalize my research by asking around what you guys think is a fair price for these OTD. So far I'm thinking the number my salesman wants to go down to is reasonable, but I'm going to try knocking off another few hundred when I meet with him to finalize a decision later this week.
Also, anything to particularly look out for about these cars or to ask for while taking delivery.
I'm having mud guards, fog lights (if I go with the 4), wheel locks, and remote start added to whichever car I decide on.
As far as Honda's go, I've owned a 2000 Honda CR-V, and a 2009 Honda Civic .
And last thing, IIRC the 4's in these accords are essentially the same as the Civic SI's right? Which would you recommend. I didn't drive the V6 yet, but the 4 seems okay. Anyone with a 4 ever feel underpowered?
Thanks for looking

Wife just bought the 2012 2 dr 4 cyl don't know the exact price but we own three in the family now and 3,000-4,000 is normal off the sticker I've found. I'd double check the operation of the factory starter. I believe it shuts the car off when you open the door as a safety-theft feature. I didn't buy theirs for that reason. Why start the car twice everytime you use it?? I went with a stereo stores starter for 100.00 less, quality installation and most of the features also. Mine only shuts the car off if you try to shift it without the key in the ignition. Just check you may not be happy having it shut down the car everytime you go to get in it...Just sayin... Good luck...

Yes the remote starter, I elected to not buy the Honda one. I had another (not positive of the brand this minute) and it's awesome. Personally I didn't like the one the dealer offered.
