Newton and I bleed brakes all the time recently - kids are older and pretty much just me.....I could ask the wife to help but know it is easier just to do it myself.

Not sure how old your son is, to me it sounds like a good chance to have him help :)

IMHO, the proper sequence should still be followed.....ABS or not.

This is what Honda has, as far as vacuum bleeding. Of course they use a machine, so it takes a lot less time. People have always said to start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder, but I guess when the ABS modulator is on the passenger side, things change.

What's interesting, is that Honda can't even make up it's own mind about which order to use. This one has the rear left as number 4. This is from my 03-05 service manual. Which is right, and which is wrong? IMO, it doesn't really matter.

I ended up doing it the old fashioned way. Brakes are better than they were when I bought the car. Turned 221,000 miles on my way from work tonight!
