Default No brakes lights working

Hi,

I have a 2002 Honda Accord and the left and right main brake light stopped working. However, the brake light on the spoiler and in the back window do still work. Is there a fuse I could check that would cause this to not work? I checked the manual for the fuse, but there is no specific fuse for the brake lights. It must be ona fuse with something else. Can anyone tell me which fuseI would check for the brake lights?

Thanks,
Razzle

Most brake light systems use multiple fuses, so if one goes at least some of the ligths work. CHeck both fuse boxes for any blown fuses, shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Unfortunately I don't know enough about that year to give a more detailed description for you.

chk fuse # 9 7.5 amps driver's under dash fuse box, if fuse is ok it could be a bad brake light failure sensor .. or bad bulbs or bad wiring ( poor connection )
