I just installed an Alpine radio in my daughters 98 Accord, and now now of the dash lights work. Any ideas? I've checked all the fuses and they are ok, so............? thanks.

 

The 98-02 don't use the orange or orange/white dimmer/illumination wires in the Alpine harness. I made that mistake wiring my Alpine radio in my 99 Accord and blew my interior fuse and brake light fuse. The fuse is in the passenger side dash fuse panel.

 

I hooked up those wires, so I will disconnect them when she gets home today. As for the fuse, I need to check that one. I didn't look at any of the fuses in the passenger side panel, but the interior light and brake lights both work, so do you think that fuse is still the problem?

 

I checked all the fuses on both sides of the dash and they are all good. Anyone else have any ideas????
