No power and no errors Accord 2004 2.2 ictdi
Hi.
I have a 2.2 ICTDI with 508000 km from 2004.
I have never had any major problems with it so far.
The car just doesn't have enough power to move properly.
I press the accelerator and it takes about 10 seconds to reach 1000 rpm, then it goes very slowly to 2000 and only "wakes up" around 2500, in neutral. Even so, if I try to get it moving, releasing the clutch, it doesn't move.
It doesn't show any error codes...
The funny thing is that if I disconnect the pipes of the power control valve (vacuum circuit), the car runs. It has very little power, but it is enough to move.
I've checked the EGR, air flow sensor, catalyst, injectors, power control valve and got nothing.... I'm starting to lose my mind.
At the official Honda dealership I was told that it was not an electrical problem, but a mechanical one. Unfortunately, I have no possibility to pay the bill they would charge me.
So, if anyone has any ideas, you are welcome to share them.
Thank you all.
