o2 sensor

i changed the o2 sensor and my check engine light still on any advice on what else can be causing the idle to go up and down

Did you replace the O2 sensor that bolts into the catalytic converter, or on the exhaust manifold?

Stop by a parts store and have them read your codes. You connector is behind the ash tray.

The code will start with the letter P and have four numbers, like p1234. Post the actual code on here.

Yes, get the codes.

Sometimes,,,,and idle going up and down has more to do with the IAC being dirty, air in the coolant or too much air in the cooling system.

Vacuum leak will also causing bouncing idle.

oh by the way i changed both o2 sensors, and i went to the dealer and thats what they said it was. that and the IAT sensor but dont know what that is

The IAT sensor is on the upper part of the intake manifold on the driver's side of the engine. It has a two or maybe three wire connector going to it. It will unbolt from the intake manifold just like a coolant temperature sensor.

not yet, took all your advice, went to discount auto parts and they said it was my o2, iat , tps and map sensor. already ordered parts but still cant find where iat is, can anyone post a pic or map
