Default Octane

I am a new Honda owner, 08 Accord EX-L 3.5L V-6 AT (black), I love this car!! Anyway, here are my questions; what is everyone running for fuel? What octane, what station? I just want my car to perform at the level it should. I did a short check to see what the compresion ratio was but I couldn't find anything. I appreciate your input on this!

Take a look in the owner's manual. It should have the fuel you need.

I think your engine will take regular. Going to premium will not give you any advantage over regular. Premium fuel is for high compression engines, like my TSX, to prevent engine knocking.

As PAHonda said, whatever fuel is recommended for it in the manual is the answer, anything higher will just cost you more money.

As for station, I have never really noticed a difference in different brands, so usually just go with whats cheapest. Shell seems to make the best claims about being the best, but they also always seem to be more expensive.
