Odd electrical issue on 95 Accord

Hello,

I've been searching the internet for days trying to get to help with an issue I'm having with my 1995 accord LX-V6...no luck so far.
I hope you guys can help.

The car runs/drives great, but i'm having an electrical issue that is ruining the car's drivability.
At random, usually at start-up, the instrument panel will not work. No gauges work. The blinkers work though.
Also, at the same time that the gauges quit, I've had to use the 'shiftlock release' button to shift from P.
The windows/sun roof also quit when this happens. The radio works though.
This has happened 3 times now. 2 times everything came back on at random while driving, only to act up again next time I started the car.
Any Ideas?

Thanks!
Tim

Problem Solved! After digging around the forum, I found a thread that suggested checking/replacing the #1 underdash fuse. That was the problem. The fuse was blown. It looked a bit different from other blown fuses I've seen, but it was blown none the less.

i had somehting similar it was the battery same dash freakyness. batteries are bad in 2 ways 1. wont hold charge or when it becomes a break in circuit...meaning its an open.. thats when ur dash board flickers.. by the way thats the same symptom that a bad alternator.
