Default Oil on spark plug

I have oil on one of my spark plugs. Its not on the actual part that sparks. Its on the threaded part of the plug. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas as to what that could be. Any help is appreciated.

x2. You need to replace your spark plug tube seals. Go to the DIY section or use the search function above. I'm feeling nice this morning so I'll give you a link. This was found via the bottom post on the first page of the DIY section: http://filtsai.com/accord/valve_cover_gasket/index.php

Since it's not really an extremely urgent fix, research prices online first and buy them there. If you get them at a parts store you'll pay an arm and a leg. I dropped one of the seals into engine bay abyss and ended up paying between $10 and $20 for just one set.

it's all in the DIY section - you have a bad valve cover gasket - everyone should input the make and model in their signature (and turn on the sig feature)

It is not a bad valve cover gasket. .. v.c.gasket leaking will not get oil in the spark plug tubes,,
it is the upper spark plug seals that are leaking located in the underneath of the valve cover ,, or the lower rocker arm seals ..
