Hi everyone, i finally got my 95 honda on the road this week YAY!!! But when i got my insurance they told me it was an LX from the vin number, but on the trunk lid of my car it has the "EX" badge. So they went by the VIN number and wrote it down as an "LX" How else can i tell what model it really is??? What is the difference between the them?? I looked closely too see if the truck lid had been changed or someone just glued an "EX" badge on but it looks totally factory and the car has never been repainted or trunk lid repainted. Thanks.

 

look on your block if you have an F22B1 then you have the 145 HP Ex model, if it's an F22B2 then it's probably an LX car with 130 HP

 

on the vin # the 9th spot ( it is a # ) just before the S .. ( s meaning the year 1995)

if it is a 3 it is an lx
if it is a 4 it is an lx with abs
if it is a 5 it is an EX
if it is a 6 it is an EX with leather seats

 

Desert, did they ever do late model production of vehicles and re-badge them or anything? Is it possible that the factory put on an ex sticker?

 

Did the 95 LX have rear disc brakes?

Does the 95 EX have disc brakes?

 

94 ex has rear disc brakes...

 

My 94 LX has rear discs as well...

 

Ex has factory sunroof.

 

in canada only the ex-r has the factory sunroof
