Default Online Manual Question

I recently downloaded the online manual (Accord 1998-2000 ESM CD ISO) for my 2000 Accord LX from one of the sites listed in the sticky post. I burned the CD from the ISO image and installed it on my computer. When I bring it up, the Accord on the cover doesn’t look like an American Accord. I’m wondering if it’s for the European model. Does anybody know if this is for American Accords and if not, is it any use at all for owners of American Accords? Right now I need to replace my front brake pads and I’m not sure if the procedure would be the same or not.

front brake pad change should be the same no matter where in the world you are.

For those who may not know, the sixth generation US, European, and Japanese Accords are all different cars.

Yep, all very different. Pad and rotor change should be nearly identical though.

I didn't say that every accord in the world is EXACTLY the same; re-read my post.

Dude, lighten up. I wasn't implying that you were saying they were all the same. I was just posting the info for those that didn't know. I'm trying to find out if the manual is any good for things other than brakes.

I think that was directed at me since Im the one who said "identical".

More or less, the front disc brake system will have the same way over changing pads and rotors, even if the hardware is different.
