Default Outside Temperature Gauge

I have a 2003 Accord. I recently replaced the factory radio with and aftermarket using the Metra fit kit. I noticed that my outside temperature gague no longer works. Does anyone know of a corelation between the factory radio and the temp gauge? I also used a steering wheel control interface piece. Can the gauge be reset? I appreciate any help!

unless the radio displayed the outside temp I know of no correlation between it and the temp sensor... is the sensor reading anything at all or is it just dead?

No. The display is in the gauge cluster above the steering wheel. The readout is blank.

one way to reset the guage is to pull the main fuse or remove the negative battery cable for a few seconds.... if you were messing with the steering wheel it's possible that the connection to the readout popped off...
