overhead light while turning right
hey, so my overhead light turns on when i'm turning right (no matter how quickly i am turning), and every now and then when i'm having to slow down at a relatively quick rate
i know it has to do with the driver door being pushed out slightly from the force of the turn or whatever, but i was wondering if anybody here might have any other ideas on the best way to take care of the problem
thanks!

yeah, the door closes flush with the body. and the light on the dash does indicate the door as being open when i turn, that's how i know it's that door
taping the door button closed would work, lol, but i'd rather find a way to make it function like it's supposed to =P thanks though

Go to hardware store & look for adhesive rubber bumper blocks, like you'd put on table legs to keep them from slipping on the floor. I've seen these silicone rubber disks about 1/8-inch thick that would work for that. Stick it on the door right where it hits the switch, so it presses the switch in a bit more.
Did it work?
Another possibility is a bare wire rattling around in there. The pushbutton switch closes the circuit to ground, so any bare wire hitting metal will do the same thing (& light up the warning). If that's it, you'll have to find it & fix it.
