Oxygen Sensor Fault
I am having trouble with my upstream O2 sensor, I unplugged but did not remove it several days ago and the CEL came on. I cleared it several times, but it continues to come back. I have checked that it is plugged in nice and snug. The sensor was working fine before. Any ideas as to what happened? I'd rather not splurge for a new sensor if I don't need to. 02 Accord EX F32A1 134k

P0135

PO135 is a fault in heater circuit of the A/F sensor. This usually means the heating element has failed. Disconnect and check resistance of heating element (same color wires usually). A wiring diagram is necessary to find the heating element wires otherwise.
Good resistance would be perhaps 10-20 ohms. If open or dead short, a new A/F sensor is necessary. good luck |

Be sure to also check the #6 fuse in the under dash fuse panel.

Thanks! I'll check it out when I get off work.

I checked the fuse, which was ok. The heater circuit is bad, so I'm guessing that I need a new sensor. Is it ok to put a sensor labeled downstream in the upstream position? I'm looking at a price difference of over 20 bucks, and I wouldn't think with a universal sensor that it would make a big difference.

You have an Air/Fuel Sensor, not a O2 sensor. Downstream sensor is an O2 sensor, so swap won't work.
Suggest checking ebay, amazon, and rockauto for best deal on a denso A/F sensor. good luck |
