Thanks everyone, ment to provide an update sooner. I had the the timing chain and tensioner replaced and no more errors or check engine light. The tech confirmed the chain was stretched and the tensioner was at it's max.

Thanks again for all your help

Cheers )

I had the P0341 code on my 2009 Accord 4cyl that would come back immediately after clearing. Just put a new battery in 'cause it was starting to lag when starting on cold mornings. My code went away right after installing the battery. Very happy that I don't have to replace the timing chain.

It does happen that low voltage can cause unexpected codes.

Hopefully fix is permanent. Let forum know if P0341 re-occurs.

good luck

I have similar codes P341 and P1009 showing up, with check engine light on for 2012 accord. Honda service center near me has charged $1341 for replacing both the timing chain and VTC actuator. Should I be changing only the timing chain and not the VTC actuator, since they confirmed the timing chain is worn/streched. Please reply.

Find out the cost of dong the timing chain and VTC actuator separately. I suspect the timing chain replacement will be the bulk of the cost.

I'd recommend replacing if the dealership verified the P1009 is a problem with the VTC actuator.
