parking brake handle....

i want to take off the handle but i see no way of doing it...how do i take this thing off?? well i guess i mean just the cover that goes over it cause i want to paint it

I'm not sure what you want to take off.

If you need to take off the console, then look at this site (http://www.dhost.info/accordinfo/howto/console.html). This is for the generation after yours, but may be similiar.

Take out the console.



Then you're talking about that covering over the lever, shown here just above the lever itself... ??
