How well do you know & trust the ebay seller's reputation?

"Ebay" isn't like any particular vendor. It's thousands of different people & places selling whatever stuff they want to sell. It might be genuine, might be a good deal. It also might be some guy lying about what he has.

 

Yea I thought about that. But most of these parts that I have found are from parts dealers here in the states. One that I'm looking at is out of California. Has a good reputation on eBay but still a little worried about it. The prices look good but still not sure.

 

At the end of the day it is your choice and we all have our opinions.

I have used Gates products in all of my cars for the last ~25 years - belts, t belts, hoses, ps hoses, by-pass/heater hoses, rad hose, ect - Never had and issue, do you really think Honda makes EVERYTHING they put it a car when building it?......again we have opinions at the end of the day - YOU make the choice.

 

Many eBay listings are from established stores that ALSO have a website and/or physical store. If so, then it's a lot easier to judge whether to trust them. All I meant is that you're not buying from "eBay", you're buying from that store.

Or if it's not a real "store" then you're buying from that person's garage or junkpile. Still might be perfectly good & honest. Or not.
