Permanently Disable Stock Security System
I have a 1994 Honda Accord. It has a security system installed I'd like to get rid of completely. When it goes off, it's the horn - not a siren. As I understand it, that means it's not after-market, but was installed by Honda. Can I permanently (or can Honda dealership), permanently remove this so I open the car and start it with only the key? Thanks!
I think the auto-arm feature can be turned off via programming.
That way the alarm would not arm itself any more unless you wanted it to.
I think if you search on the alarm forum over at the12volt.com you can find out how to reprogram the alarm to fit your needs better.
