I'm just checking to see if anyone ever found a permanent fix for this issue that is a known problem with the 08 and 09 Accords. So far I have replaced the battery with specified type from manual. Replaced a few plugs. Replaced camshaft sensor with OEM part. Replaced crankshaft position sensor THREE times with OEM part. Replaced upstream 02 sensor because the old one was just taped on from when I bought the car. Had the dealership update ECM with the TSB on this issue. I'm sure I'm forgetting more that I've done to try to fix this issue. Today, it got towed for the 4th time to the dealership with the same 0339 code. They can't figure it out either.ANYBODY?????

 

Sounds like the dealership followed the TSB. I'm guessing they updated the software along with the crank signal relearn?

Are you getting the P0300/P0302/P0303 codes? Is the engine performing poorly when the code(s) come up? Does the car take longer to crank when trying to start the vehicle?

 

Yes Dealership updated ECM with TBS and did relearn on crank sensor. When it throws this code, it cranks longer before it starts. It does it after it's warmed up. When it takes that long to crank that's when it throws the code and goes into limp mode...can't drive over 20mph

 

ONly the 0339 ckp sensor code...is all I'm getting each time.

 

I also had them replace the PGM-FI main relay a few weeks ago..that didn't help either

 

After reading the TSB for your issue, It may be worth looking at the negative cables for corrosion. On my 2014 every one was corroded where it attached to body/frame, that will give you voltage issues.

I'd think the dealership would have read the TBS more closely...if this is the problem, I will certainly say something to them about it.
